One of the conservative L'Iber, the Museum of Lead Soldiers, aligns a series of figures in its booth at one of the rooms of the museum exhibition, with more than 60,000 figures above, the different epochs of humanity through their armies.

  • It has 30 rooms and more than 600,000 pieces.
  • L'Iber Museum opened the first private library open to the public with 50,000 volumes.

The Tin Soldier Museum of Valencia is located in the downtown, particularly in the palace of the Marquis de Malferit the fourteenth century, is a private collection of over 1,000,000 soldiers lead all the times.

The toy soldiers museum has 10 rooms, of which 9 are for the exposure of soldiers and a conference room. The rooms are as follows:

Hall of Prehistory, Antiquity Room 1, Room Age 2, Almansa, Abrazo de Vergara, Victoia Eugenia Valencia Collections, Tirant and Everyday Life.

One of the stars of the museum collections Lead Soldier of Valencia is the collection of Spanish guards, with more than 25,000 troops in 3 rooms: Tirant, Almansa and Victoria Eugenia.

The collection represents various dioramas recreations of battles in history mainly from Spain, no doubt, something very interesting to watch, especially because in the dioramas are represented to the smallest details such as the Battle of Almansa, diorama with more than 5000 toy soldiers.

Another curiosity is the room Prehistoric Museum, which represent different ways of life dioramas depicted in prehistoric cave paintings of ancient east.

But not everything is in Spain, in the halls of antiquity we see recreations of Greeks, Babylonians, Assyrians, famous historical scenes such as the assassination of Julius Caesar, and so on.

Hours:

The museum is open Wednesday through Friday mornings from 11:00 to 14:00 hours in the afternoon from 14:00 to 19:00 hours. Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 15:00 and evenings from 16:00 to 19:00, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as festivities Friday and May 1.

Entry to adults and children 4 years 4euros, children under 4 are free. Groups enjoy 30% discount.
